Ingredients
- 3 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 C. Sugar
- 2 tsp Instant Yeast
- 1 tsp Cinnamon (Vietnamese is the best)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 C Warm Milk
- 1/4 C Butter, melted
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 C. Mini Cinnamon Chips (Best from K.A.F.)
Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, yeast, cinnamon, salt & baking powder. In separate bowl, whisk milk, butter & egg. Combine wet & dry ingredients, beating until smooth. Stir in the cinnamon chips. Let the batter rest at room temp for 1 hour, covered. Stir down the batter, then spoon into greased 8x4 loaf pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake~350` for 35 to 40 minutes or til tests done. Cool completely before slicing. Excellent lightly toasted.
