Waffles -Crisp Sour Cream Waffles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tea. baking powder
  • 1 tea. baking soda
  • 1/4 tea. salt
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 5 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups milk, room temperature

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat waffle iron.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir well. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, sour cream, butter, and milk, until blended. Add to dry ingredients and stir well to combine. Batter will have small lumps of flour.

Cook waffles in waffle iron according to direction until iron opes easily sand waffles are well browned and crisp, about 5 minutes.
