Raw Pecan Chocolate Bark

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup raw pecans
  • 1.5 cups dark chocolate chips/chunks
  • Approx 1 tsp sea salt
  • wax paper and a cookie sheet for prep

Preparation

Step 1

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and put in the refrigerator

Melt the chocolate chips/chunks in a double boiler over low heat, or by putting an inch or so of water in a sauce pan and your chocolate in a glass measuring dish, sitting inside the water! Stir regularly

Once the chocolate is melted, pour it over the wax paper, saving just a tad bit for the top of the bark

Crush the raw pecans as you sprinkle them over the chocolate

Sprinkle with a bit of sea salt

Drizzle the remaining chocolate over the pecans

Put in the refrigerator to cool, for about 30 minutes

Either break with your hands or use a cookie cutter to cut into pieces
