Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans – trim them
- 3 potatoes - peel and halve
- Chopped onion
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 pound chunk of ham- chopped OR fry 4 slices of bacon and crumble
Preparation
Step 1
Put all ingredients in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Cook on low for 30-45 minutes – so potatoes are done, but not mushy.
