9-Day Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1-1/2 c. oil
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cabbage, onion, and pepper in a large bowl. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan, and bring to a rolling boil. Pour over vegetables and mix well. Let cool. Refrigerate before serving. (Keeps for several days in the fridge.)
