    C self-rising flour (White Lilly brand, if possible)

  • 3/4-1

    C heavy whipping cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 475. In a bowl, put flour and make a well in the middle; pour cream into well until it spills over the top of flour. With a wooden spoon, gently fold ingredients together until sticky dough forms. Dust your counter with extra flour and dump dough onto the surface. Gather dough into a ball and gently roll or pat down to desired thickness, maybe 1/2" or so. Dusting with additional flour before cutting into desired shapes, use knife or bench scraper to form biscuits and place on ungreased cookie sheet or in pie pan. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until they reach desired doneness. Note: Recipe may easily be increased, just be mindful of "feel" of the dough and adjust your ingredient amounts accordingly.
