Caramels

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 2 c. cream
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 squares chocolate
  • 1 1/2 c. nuts, cut up
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Put sugar, syrup, butter, and 1 cup cream in pan. Stir and bring to boil. And another cup of cream slowly, boil to 244 degrees.

Remove from fire. Add chocolate, nuts, and vanilla. Pour into buttered pan. Let set. Cut and wrap.
