Hot & Delicious Dump Cake

This cake is perfect for stick in the oven right when you sit down to eat dinner. It smells wonderful and is ready after dinner is completed.

Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 cans pie filling (cherry or other flavor)
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 lb. melted butter
  • pecan pieces
  • whipped cream OR vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Step 1

Grease 9x13 pan. Spread pie filling on bottom. Cover with dry cake mix. Pour melted butter over mix and then add a layer of pecans. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
