Ingredients
- Brownies:
- 1 C butter
- 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 2 C sugar
- 1 C flour
- 2 t vanilla
- 1 t baking powder
- Sour Cream Frosting:
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1/2 C butter
- 2 lbs. confectioners’ sugar
- 1-2 t vanilla (or use peppermint flavoring)

Preparation
Step 1
For Brownies:
Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate in microwave; stirring at 30 second intervals. When completely melted, beat in eggs, one at a time. Next add dry ingredients and mix. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake in 350 oven for 20-25 minutes. Frost, if desired.
For Frosting:
Mix frosting ingredients in a bowl. Add green food coloring at Christmas, and St. Patrick’s Day, red at Valentine’s Day, etc. Frosting makes enough for 2-9x13 pans of brownies.
