Ingredients

  • cups white sugar

    cup butter

    eggs

  • 1

    cup molasses

  • 4

    cups flour

  • 3

    tsp soda

  • 2

    tsp baking powder

  • 2

    tsp ginger

  • ½

    tsp nutmeg

  • ½

    tsp cinnamon

  • ½

    tsp ground cloves

  • ½

    tsp allspice

  • ¼

    tsp salt

Directions

Mix butter and sugar add eggs and molasses add dry ingredients Mix well and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Roll into 1" balls and you can roll them in sugar if you want |Place on cool cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes at 350. Cool on wax paper
