Pork Chop Skillet Dinner

Ingredients

  • 10 oz. pkg. broccoli spears, frozen in butter sauce
  • 4 tbsp. oil
  • 4 pork chops cut 1/2-3/4" thick
  • 2 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 3/4 c. dry white wine
  • 2 beef bouillion cubes
  • 3/4 c. uncooked rice

Preparation

Step 1

Thaw unopened broccoli pouch for 3-4 mins. in microwave. Lightly sprinkle both sides of pork chops w/ 1/2 tsp. ginger. In lg. skillet, brown prok chops in oil, remove, set aside. Add water, wine, bouillion cubes & remaining ginger drippings in skillet. Arrange pork chops over rice. Cover, simmer over low heat 15 mins. Add contents of broccoli pouch, cover, continue to simmer 10-12 mins. or till broccoli is done and all liquid is absorbed.
