Make ahead and freeze. Use sliced bread, tortilla wraps, rolls or buns for variety. Toss into lunch bags in the morning to thaw until lunchtime or thaw in the frig overnight to enjoy the next day. k Makes 1 1/4 cups filling, enough for 4 sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • Chicken filling
  • 1 cup chopped cooked chicken
  • 4 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp. salad dressing
  • 2 tbsp. mined green onions
  • 1 -2 tsp. dried tarragon ( 2 tbsp. fresh
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Ham filling
  • Use 1 cup diced ham instead of chicken & use parsley instread of tarragon

Step 1

Place all ingredients in food processor. Pulse on & off until well mixed. Spread on well-buttered bread or buns for sandwiches.

To freeze. Wrap in freezer bags. Label & date. Freeze for up to 6 weeks.
