Pork Chops - Spanish Style

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • flour
  • lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Trim fat from pork chops and melt in a frying pan with 1 tbsp sugar. Sauté flour-covered chops and place in an oven dish. Lemon juice can be used to deglaze pan.

Combine dry ingredients with onion, sauces and water. Pour over pork chops in oven dish. Bake in 350°F (177°C) oven for 1 hour.
