- WEIGHT UNSTUFFED
- 8-12 LBS (2 3/4 - 3 hrs)
- 12-14 LBS (3 - 3.75 hrs)
- 14-18 LBS (3.75 - 4.25 hrs)
- 18-20 LBS (4.25 - 4.5 hrs)
- 20-24 LBS (4.5 - 5 hrs)
- WEIGHT STUFFED
- 8-12 LBS (3 - 3.5 hrs)
- 12-14 LBS (3.5 - 4 hrs)
- 14-18 LBS (4 - 4.25 hrs)
- 18-20 LBS (4.25 - 4.75 hrs.)
- 20-24 LBS (4.75 - 5.25 hrs.)
- Cover bird with foil after 2/3 cooking time to prevent it from becoming dry.
- DO NOT add water or cover turkey.
- Let stand for at least 15 minutes before carving.
Preparation
Step 1
Whole turkey is safe when cooked to a minimum of 165 degrees when measured with a food thermometer. Check thickest part of the breast and stuffing.
