Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, cut into 4 cm (1-1/2 in) pieces
- 125 mL (1/2 cup) chopped onion
- 15 mL (1 tbsp) olive oil
- 5 mL (1 tsp) garlic powder
- 5 mL (1 tsp) chili powder
- 2.5 mL (1/2 tsp) salt
- 15 mL (1 tbsp) chopped chives
- 15 mL (1 tbsp) sour cream (optional)
- 1 Ziploc® brand Zip 'n Steam™ Microwave Steam Cooking Bag
Preparation
Step 1
1.Combine in a large Ziploc® brand Zip ‘n Steam™ Microwave Steam Cooking Bag the potatoes, chopped onion, olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder and salt.
2.Seal bag and shake to mix ingredients. Place bag in microwave.
3.Cook on full power for 7 minutes or until tender.
4.Allow bag to stand 1 minute before handling. Gently shake bag to distribute seasonings. Carefully open bag and remove contents.
5.Sprinkle with 15 mL (1 tbsp) chopped chives. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with sour cream, if desired.
