Turkey- 24.8 lbs. frozen from Top, defrost 6 days, brine night before. Was perfect quantity. If we have >18 people-Mondana will make one turkey and me the other 18 lbs. each
Trader Joes had Kosher Brined big Turkeys available Monday before. Do that next year
green beans-mondana
mashed potatoes-mondana
no salad
gravy-used two TJ gravys and had left over-try real gravy next year-
stuffing-chestnut-had a ton left over, don't used the dried bread cubes, use fresh. Think they prefer the apple one
cranberries-double batch was perfect
sweet pots-used nine, a little more next year
apple-cran pie-made and froze unbaked,only make if you really want to, shahin didn't eat any pies
pecan pie-made and froze baked-too sweet for them-don't make it next year
Arezoo made pumpkin pie-she wasn't happy with it.
Have Shahin carve turkey sooner-takes awhile
Use servers/burners next time to keep food warm
