Apple Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups apples
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Canola oil
  • 3/4 cup Toasted Pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour and 13 x 9-inch pan.

Beat eggs until light, add sugar; and beat to combine. Add canola oil, and orange juice, beat to combine

In a separate bowl whisk together four, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking soda, and salt. Mix dry ingredients with wet, just to combine.

Peel and chop apples into small thing pieces. Mix chopped apples into batter, and spread batter in pan. Bake 45 to 60 minutes.
