Gravy mix - Make ahead
Use this recipe to make your gravy mix ahead of time. Use the pan drippings from your chicken or turkey to add the flavorings at the end of your meal. Easy and made ahead of time!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup clarified butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 5 cups chicken stock
- Salt and Pepper
Preparation
Step 1
1. .In a saucepan combine the butter with the flour, cook over a moderate heat until it is blonde in color.
2. Wisk in the stock slowly until it is completely incorporated and there are no lumps.
3. Simmer gently for approximately 20 minutes until the starchy flavor is gone.
4. Salt and pepper to taste
