Venison Tips

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. venison stew meat
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sherry (or any type of red wine)
  • 1 medium clove garlic, minced
  • 2 cans (10 1/2 oz each) condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion or green onions
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat in butter. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 2 hours, until meat is tender, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice or noodles.
