Old Forester bourbon, Fernet Branca, demerara, Luxardo bitters, smoke, Vya dry vermouth, lemon. Smokey, subtlety sweet, a little bitter.

Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Old Forester Bourbon
- 1/4 oz Fernet Branca
- 1/4 oz Luxardo ‘bitter’
- 1/2 oz Carpano Antica sweet vermouth
- 1/4 oz Vya dry vermouth
- 1/4 oz demerara
- 7 drops liquid ‘smoke’
- 1 lemon peel ‘chip’
Preparation
Step 1
Place 2 medium ice cubes in a old-fashioned glass. Set aside.
Combine bourbon, Fernet Branca, Luxardo bitter, both vermouths and the simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with lemon chip; its oil expressed onto the surface and rubbed onto the rim of the drink then dropped on top, peel side up.
