  • Crumb Topping:
  • 3 c all purpose flour
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 c apples
  • 1/3 c orange juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c Canola oil
  • 1/2 c all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 toasted pecans
  • 4 tblsp butter

Step 1

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour and 13 x 9 pan. Beat eggs until light, add sugar; and beat to combine. Add canola oil, and orange juice, beat to combine In a separate bowl whisk together four, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking soda, and salt. Mix dry ingredients with wet, just to combine. Peel and chop apples into small thing pieces. Mix chopped apples into batter, and spread batter in pan. Mix crumb topping ingredients, cut in butter, and sprinkle over batter evenly. Bake 45 to 60 minutes.
