Ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter - room temperature
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 4 eggs (beaten)
- up to 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients together and set to the side.
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, (1/2) milk and vanilla. Slowly add dry ingredients. If the recipe seems a little dry add more milk.
Refrigerate, roll out and cut into shapes.
Bake at 375 degrees F. 10-12 minutes.
