- 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1 egg; beaten
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1 cup Quaker oats

Pre-heat oven to 375.

Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add peanut butter, egg, and milk; beat well.

Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.

Chill 30 minutes.

Shape dough into balls (walnut size) and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.

Press flat with a fork.

Bake 10 minutes.
