French Apple Pecan Pie

A family favorite for Thanksgiving!

Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • Pillsbury pie crust
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6-7 pared, cored and sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar and cinnamon together. Mix carefully with apples and pecans. Place in crust. Dot with butter. Sprinkle toppings over top. Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until done.

Topping: Combine butter, brown sugar and flour. Mix well and add pecans.pared
