Ingredients
- 2 2 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 1 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 1 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 2 2 tsp kosher salt, divided
- 3/4 3/4 3/4 c butter, divided
- 1 1c 1c whole milk
- 2 2 2 c mild cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp dried parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425. Prepare large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt 1/2 c butter and set aside.
In a large mixing add the flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic and 1 tsp of salt. Whisk well
Pour the milk into the melted butter and stir well
Mix the wet ingredients with the dry and stir until just combined. Add the shredded cheese and fold.
Make 8 large biscuits or smaller if required.
Bake a for 10-12 minutes, until barely golden brown.
While biscuits are baking melt remaining butter with 1 salt, and all the parsley and stir
When biscuits are removed from oven immediately brush with butter parsley mixture.
