Low Carb Microwave Hamburger Bun

Ingredients

  • 1 1 1 large egg
  • 1 1 1 T almond Flour
  • 1 1 1 T psyllium husk powder
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 t baking powder
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 t cream of tartar
  • 1 1 1 T chicken broth
  • 1 1 1 T melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

In a wide mouth microwave safe mug (should be the size of a hamburger patty) crack one egg. Melt the butter and pour onto the egg. Whip well, you want to incorporate air into the mixture.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix together until a wet dough forms. Smooth out the top and microwave for 60-75 seconds depending on the microwave. Invert mug onto plate and tap to remove. Cut it in half and enjoy.
