Korean Beef Soup

Ingredients
- Toppings:
- 1 package of beef short ribs
- 1 bunch of green onions, thin sliced on the diagonal
- 3 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 tsp. grated ginger
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. Thai chili sauce
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 5 cups chicken stock
- Shredded carrot
- Thin sliced red onion
- Fresh cilantro

Preparation
Step 1
Salt and pepper the ribs, and make two cuts across the meat to the bone. Put in an oven proof pot. Mix all ingredients together. Pour over short ribs and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 2 - 2 1/2 hours (until the meat has fallen off the bone). Remove the ribs to a plate, and take meat off bone. Return it to pot. Ladle soup over a scoop of cooked jasmine rice or cooked rice noodles. Top with toppings.
