Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon each paprika and parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon each garlic powder, celery seed, dried oregano, and rosemary
- 1 bay leaf, finely crumbled
- 4 whole black peppercorns
- 1 beef rib roast (about 5 LBS)

Preparation
Step 1
Grind all seasonings together, arrange on paper plate or waxed paper. Roll roast around thoroughly to coat or sprinkle it on.
Place roast, fat side up, in roasting pan. Roast at 350*
exactly 20 minutes per lb. add 1/2 cup water to bottom of pan for "au jus" before roasting.
