Root Beer Cake

oven 350*

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (120z) rootbeer
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons Rootbeer
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven 350*
grease 10 inch bundt pan
set aside
combine the cake mix, can of Root beer, oil and eggs
pour into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes
or until a toothpick comes out clean
Cool cake 15 minutes in pan before inverting onto a wire rack to cool
poke holes in the cake every 2 inches with a bamboo skewer
combine the powder sugar and the 3Tablespoons of Root Beer in a small bowl
beat the sugar glaze with a fork until smooth
Pour the root beer glaze over the cake
