Ingredients

  • 2 2 2 lbs cube steak (I thaw mine first)
  • 1/3 1/3 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 2 2 Tbs oil
  • 2 2 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 2 2 onions (optional-I did not have any and hubby prefers it without)
  • 10.5 10.5 can 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1 1 dry package Lipton onion soup mix

Step 1

Cut cube steak into smaller pieces and dredge in flour. I just cut in half or into thirds depending how big the pieces of meat are. Add oil to IP and turn on sauté setting. Add steak in batches, cooking on each side until brown and crispy. Set steak aside. Deglaze bottom of IP with 3 Tbs of beef broth. If using onions, add them now and cook until tender. Return steak on top of onions. Mix remaining broth, mushroom soup, and dry onion mix. Pour over cube steak. Cook on Manual high for 20 min. Quick release. Turn off IP and let rest 5 min to thicken gravy. I serve mine with mashed potatoes or rice.
