Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Ingredients

  • 1 8oz can water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 8 slices bacon, cut in half

Preparation

Step 1

Marinate chestnuts in soy sauce for 1 hour, drain. Roll each chestnut in brown sugar. Wrap each chestnut with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Bake at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes. This can be prepared ahead of time and stored in refrigerator till time to bake.
