Roasted Brussel Spouts

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lbs. Brussel sprouts
  • 3 T. olive oil
  • 3/4 t. kosher salt
  • 1/2 t. black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Cut off the ends of the Brussel sprouts and pull off any yellow outer leaves. Cut in half if large spouts. Mix them in a bowl with the olive oil, salt and pepper. Place them on a baking sheet and raost for 30 to 40 minutes, until crisp outside and tender inside. Shake the pan from time to time to brown the Brussels sprouts evenly.
