I was cleaning out the leftovers one day and created this quite yummy mess of a dish. A great low carb alternative to a ham and cheese!

Ham & Cheese Pouches 2 Pictures

  • 1 1 1 cup ham, chopped
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup cheese, shredded (Mexican or Cheddar)
  • 1 1 1 teaspoon Penzeys Sandwich Sprinkle or similar spice blend

Preparation time 5mins
Cooking time 15mins

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Take a large piece of aluminum foil and spray 1 side with non stick cooking spray. Take a little over half of the cheese and sprinkle into a small layer in the middle of the foil. Leave enough room to fold the foil into a pouch

Spread/sprinkle the ham on top of the cheese.

Sprinkle the spice evenly across the ham and cheese

Top with remaining cheese and fold the foil over the top. Try to not squeeze all the air out and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

Once done, it should easily come off the foil and onto a plate or a bowl. It also goes great with naan or a tortillas.
