Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. of sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 t. soda
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1 t. vanilla

Step 1
Cream together butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Blend dry ingredients, gradually add dry ingredients to peanut butter mixture; mix thoroughly. Shape dough into teaspoon size balls. Roll balls into sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes. Remove sheet from oven and place a solid milk chocolate kiss on top of each cookie pressing down firmly so that cookie cracks around the edge. Return cookies to the oven and bake 2-5 minutes longer until golden brown.
