Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 5 egg yolks (unbeaten)....save egg whites
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 t. vanilla extract
  • 2 t. lemon extract

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients until smooth. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold egg whites with the batter. Bake in ungreased tube pan. Bake at 350°F for 55 minutes. Then bake 10-15 minutes longer at 375°F.
