Roasted Garlic and Scallion Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 head garlic
  • 2 t olive oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 4 thinly sliced scallions
  • salt and pepper
  • Bagel chips

Preparation

Step 1

Place head garlic on a sheet of foil; drizzle with olive oil and seal. Roast at 400 until tender, 40-45 mins, unwrap and let cool. Squeeze the garlic cloves from their skins into a food processor. Puree with warm cream cheese and milk until smooth. Stir in scallions and season with salt and pepper. Serve with bagel chips.
