Ingredients
- 2 quarts sliced, unpeeled cucumbers
- 2 T. salt
- 1 or more onions, chopped
- Syrup: (Boil)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- dash celery seed
Preparation
Step 1
Mix cucumbers, salt and onions and let stand for 2 hours. Boil together just until sugar dissolves. Let cool. Mixture will be thick. Make syrup while cucumbers stand. Drain cucumbers and squeeze out as much juice as possible. Put in freezer containers. Pour syrup over and freeze.
