Ingredients

  • Meatball:
  • Scallion - 2 stalks minced
  • Ground Ginger - 1 tsp
  • Ground Black Pepper (Chinese) - a dash
  • Cooking Wine - 1 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1-2 tsp
  • Daikon or Nappa Cabbage - half depending on size, cut into small squares or slice cabbage into 2-inch pieces.
  • Scallion - 1 or 2 stalks
  • Soy Sauce - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Meatball:
Mix all ingredients together in the same direction adding a little bit of water at a time. If mixing by hand, make sure to keep the mixing action in the same direction.

Soup:
1 - Heat pot, add oil, add scallion
2 - Allow the scallion to cook then add a dash or two of soy sauce
3 - Allow the content to cook a little bit then add water (add as much as you would like the soup to be)
4 - Wait for boil then add Daikon or Nappa Cabbage
5 - Wait for boil, allow the vegetable to cook, then turn the heat down to a simmer.
6 - Add meatballs one at a time using a spoon.
7 - Turn the heat up to high, bring to boil.
