Joanne's Raisin Pie

My sister Joanne gave me this recipe

Ingredients

• 2 2 2 cups raisins
• 2 2 2 cups boiling
• 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 2 2 tablespoons flour
• 1/2 1/2 1/2 cups nuts (optional) I like some walnuts in it
• 2 2 2 teaspoons lemon zest
• 3 3 3 Tablespoons lemon juice I don't use

Preparation

Step 1

cook the raisins in boiling water until tender. Mix sugar and flour and stir into raisins.

cook to boiling and boil 1 minute.
stir in 1/2 cups nuts (optional) We like walnuts

the lemon zest and lemon juice are optional---I don't use either
2 teaspoons lemon zest
3 Tablespoons lemon juice
