Ingredients
- 1 cup water 1/4 cup butter
- Dash cayenne pepper '
- 1 cup flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup Kraft Old Cheddar Shredded Cheese
- 1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
Preparation
Step 1
HEAT oven to 400°F.
BRING water, butter and cayenne to boil in medium saucepan on medium heat, stirring frequently with wooden spoon. Add flour all at once; stir until well blended. Cook and stir 2 min. or until mixture forms ball. Cool 5 min.
ADD eggs, 1 at a time, stirring after each until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop level tablespoonfuls of dough, about 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.
BAKE 20 min. or until puffed and golden brown. Turn oven off. Leave gougeres in oven 5 min. Serve warm.

Make Ahead: Gougeres can be made ahead of time. Cool completely. Freeze in single layers in shallow pans. Once frozen, store in airtight container up to 1 month. When ready to serve, reheat in 375°F oven 8 to 10 min. or until gougeres are heated through. No need to thaw first.
Shortcut: For faster prep and consistency in size, use small tablespoon-size ice cream scoop to portion the dough for each gougere.
