Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

Ingredients

• 3 3 3 c. Unsifted flour
• 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 c. Sugar
• 1/3 1/3 1/3 c. Cocoa
• 2 1/4 2 1/4 1/4 t. Baking powder
• 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 t. Baking soda
• 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 c. Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise
• 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 c. Water
• 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 t. Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Grease 2 - 9 x 1 1/2” round layer pans; line bottoms with waxed paper. Sift together dry ingredients into large bowl. Stir in Mayonnaise. Gradually stir in water and vanilla until smooth. Pour into prepared pans. Bake at 350 about 30 minutes or until cake springs back when touched or toothpick comes out clean. Cool and remove from pans. Frost and serve
