See's Fudge

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • dash of salt
  • 1 cube butter or margarine
  • 12 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 oz. milk chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 small jars marshmallow cream

Preparation

Step 1

Put sugar, salt, milk, and butter in large pot and bring to boiling point for 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
Have ready in large mixing bowl chocolate chips and marshmallow cream. Melt for a minutes in microwave and partially stir with spoon.
After boiling sugar mixture for 6 minutes, add to marshmallow/chocolate mixture. Stir by hand or with mixer until dissolved.
Add 2-3 cups walnuts and 2-3 cups marshmallows if you want Rocky Road flavor. Stir gently and quickly and pour into about 9 tart size pans, or a 9"x13" or 2 8"x8" pans.
Let stand all day or overnight. Can freeze for later use.
