Ingredients
- ½ cup of sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 cups whipping cream
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a pan mix sugar, salt, milk and yolks and cook at medium heat until thickened.
2. Cool and add vanilla and cream.
3. Mash strawberries with sugar (to taste).
4. Put the crème patissiere in the ice cream maker and add the strawberries.
5. Let run until it stops (takes about 20 minutes).
