Ingredients
- 2 lb fresh jalapenos, sliced, seeds in
- 2 lb onions diced
- 1/2 C vinegar
- 1 1/2 C water
- 6-8 C sugar, usually use 7
- 2 T mustard seed
- 1 t turmeric
- 2 t celery seed
- 2 T garlic powder
- 1 t ginger
Preparation
Step 1
Put jalapenos and onions in pot with water and vinegar. Boil until almost tender about 10-15 min. Add remaining ingredients and boil until the sugar is dissolved and the liquid becomes syrupy, about 15-20 min.
