Ingredients
- 4 4 4 bone in chicken thighs
- cooking oil
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 yukon gold potatoes, diced
- bag bag pearl onions
- 1 1 1 lb mushrooms, quartered
- 2 2 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 8 1 8 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 t pepper
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 t dried thyme
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 t dried rosemary
Preparation
Step 1
in a pan on stove top set to medium high heat. add enough oil to coat bottom of pan. when oil is hot brown chicken on both sides, don't need to cook meat through.
add diced potatoes to bottom of slow cooker and put chicken thighs on top. with spatula smear sauce around to combine seasoning into sauce
cover and cook on high for 3 1/2 hours then add the pearl onions and mushrooms and continue cooking for 1 more hour.
