Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • One small One small pack of bacon
  • 1- 10 1- 10 10 ounce pack jumbo shells
  • 1 1–10 1–10 ounce pack of frozen spinach chopped and thawed
  • 8 8 ounce One 8 ounce cream cheese
  • One One egg
  • One small One small onion chopped
  • 2- 16 2- 16 16 ounce stewed tomatoes
  • 2 2–8 2–8 ounce tomato sauce

Preparation

Step 1

350° oven
Cut bacon Half inch pieces and cook low heat till crisp
reserve 2 tablespoons of the bacon drippings
Cook Shells according to package directions and rinse
Strain the spinach pressing out or water the more water you can get out of that spinach the less watery this recipe will be
Combined the spinach the cream cheese the egg and half of the bacon mix well
Fill shells and place in casserole
For the sauce cook onion with reserved drippings of bacon till tender add tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes bring to a boil and pour over the shells sprinkle with remaining bacon and cover and bake for 40 minutes
