Ingredients
- 7 g sachet fast acting yeast
- pinch of sugar
- 225 g strong bread flour
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp shelled hemp seeds
- 2 egg whites, beaten
Preparation
Step 1
Place the yeast, sugar, flour and salt in a bowl. Mix together the oil with 150ml warm water and pour into the bowl. Stir to form a soft dough. Knead for 10 minutes.
Place in clean, oiled bowl and cover with clingfilm. Leave to rise for one hour. Turn the dough out and knead in 2 tbsp of the hemp seeds. Divide the dough into 16 pieces and roll them out to form long sticks.
Place on a baking tray and brush with egg white. Sprinkle over the remaining seeds and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
