Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 20 ounce can undrained crushed pineapple
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- FROSTING
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 16 ounces powdered sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2/3 cup chopped nuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl mix all ingredients together. Do not use a mixer; mix by hand.
Place in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan and bake for 35 minutes.
Frosting
Mix ingredients together and spread on cake while still warm.
Cool and refrigerate 2 hours or more.
