Ingredients

  • 2 2 2 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 1 1/6 white onion, sliced into 1/6 inch strips
  • 1-1/2 1-1/2 1-1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 4 4 4 cups sliced cabbage (may use coleslaw shreds, sold in bagged lettuce section)
  • 2 2 1/2 cups red potatoes, cut in 1/2 inch cubes with skin on
  • 8 8 8 ounces smoked kielbasa sausage, sliced into thick discs, then cubed
  • 2 2 2 tsp. chicken base mixed into 2 cups water
  • 2 2 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 1 1 tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1 1 1 tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1 1 1 bay leaf
  • 1 1 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 1 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Add the butter to the pressure cooker and heat on high or "brown" with the lid off. Saute onions and minced garlic in butter until onions begin to brown.

2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir. Securely lock on the pressure cooker's lid, set the cooker to high and cook for 4 minutes.

3. Perform a quick release to release the cooker's pressure. Safely remove lid and serve.
