Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry onion until slightly brown. Add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, and garlic. Add rice and stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Add 2 cups water and bring to a boil.
2. Add peas. Stir, lower heat and simmer covered until rice is cooked. Let stand uncovered until extra water evaporates
